Yikes. It's a mess. Need some front yard structure. I've been here 25 years and the original plans plus what was here already have deteriorated over the years.
Not looking to be 'ready for pictures' but neat, tidy, some color. Oh and space for my lawn chair.
Back yard isn't too bad. Am sure it can be improved.

Here's a cluster question. What can be done to the hill in front of my house? Jane Derrick put in the barrier to keep the mud from accumulating on the common sidewalk. While that seems to have resolved my problem of a slippery sidewalk in the rain, it's not a very attractive resolution. Is there anything that can be done to keep this area from being ….. such an 'eye sore'? Grass has been tried. The soil seems to be too dense, clayish to manage grass. Any suggestions will be welcomed. I'll send pictures but not today.
