Blade Runners has taken the following steps to improve our ability to meet the demands of extreme events.

Purchase of additional heavy equipment:

By far our biggest challenge was the amount and availability of heavy equipment.  Blade Runners has since purchased 8 additional loaders

Loader Line up

In addition we have invested in 15 “Kage” Box/plow attachments. Please see the video below for further details.

Introduction of staging service:

We now offer a service that stages the new Box/Plow loader on the site for moderate events. This will insure immediate attention in heavy events for the future. Our clients have asked what can be done to insure faster service and this is the answer.

Reduction in the snow work load:

We found the largest jobs created the most scheduling havoc.  The quantity of snow created an exponential challenge. We have eliminated poorly located work of this type, and will be very careful to get a high service commitment from these properties in the future.

It is our feeling that these improvements will significantly improve our snow removal performance.

Thanks Shannon –

Here is an RFP for another one of my properties that is looking to change their landscaper.

Would love to have Blade Runners on another one of my properties!

I am a certified fan of Blade Runners and appreciate the work that you do…  Also a small community, you have really upped the look at the property and I feel confident that you are doing a good job out there.

In my experience, I have never had board meetings where the community forum is filled with residents telling me what a good job a company did on snow removal or recent mowing and edging.  I HAVE gotten those very comments about Blade Runners.

The board is going to review the proposals and hopefully make a decision shortly.  I will be in touch with the results of their decision.  Thanks again for the proposal and have a nice weekend!

Hi Shannon,

From what I hear, the Board is pleased with the work of Blade Runners. Yay! I also appreciate the Task Notice sent out each time. I’m keeping fingers crossed that come Fall we might have some money to implement a bit more of the landscape plan.

Best,Sandra

Hey there,

Just wanted to give a shout out to the guys that trimmed our bushes today.  They look great!

Thanks!
Kristine

Shannon,

First – thanks. Appreciate your team.

Have been seeing them out and about and it is noticeably improved the grounds during this high growth period…

Hi Team.
Just a quick note to let you know what a lovely job the Blade Runners Crew did on the NCL Spring Cleanup work.  There are several areas they went above and beyond what I expected, and we really appreciate that.

I don’t think we got the invoice for April yet, so please have your office manager email me the invoice when ready!

Thanks again, excellent work!

Mike

Lanelle –

I am actually writing to you with a positive comment.  I am between meetings tonight and the first meeting featured a blade runners fan club meeting.  The community has had it struggles financially but decided to contract with Blade Runners and quite honestly, I have never heard a board or community produce this type of accolades for a snow removal company or landscape firm.  You were out at the community today and they were all happy to see you – and all agreed that you have done a great job on the snow – and I had to chime in as well letting them know that I get excellent communication from the company about landscape or snowscape matters.

Thanks again for doing a great job for my community and helping me to look good.  I wanted to share with you the positive comments because we often live in the land of complaints!

Pat yourself on the back and thank everyone on your team.

Best regards,

Kris

Andy, thank you for getting your team together to clean our Memorial Garden before Easter. The men did a fine job. I asked them to trim back the firepower nandina to remove the winter burn, and they were most helpful.

Wishing you and your workers a holy, happy Easter.

While I’m thinking about it, J– B–, Grounds Committee Chair for TOMCA, was singing Blade Runners’ praises at last night’s annual meeting. Per J–, the grounds look much better since the switch to Blade Runners. She noted that the crews do a good job weeding and edging, that she’s noticed a decrease in the number of weeds in the grassy areas, and that the aeration/seeding appear to be working. She also said that Blade Runners is very responsible if they’re made aware of an issue.

Kudos!
