Hi Eric,
I was the landscaping committee board member and point of contact with Shannon at Blade Runners the past year. I just resigned my board position but I wanted to let you know it was a pleasure to work with BR and Shannon. It was a lot of work especially for the first year and Shannon helped us a lot to navigate all the variety of issues that came up. He was very responsive and I was surprised all the time the response time even on the weekend including Sunday from him.
It cannot be easy to work with a volunteer board of a small community but Shannon has always been patient and professional with us. Our common area had been neglected for a long time and we can already see a very positive difference one year with BR had made. Although it’s impossible to not encounter some complaints or unreasonable demands, many residents did express their gratitude for the work you all have done.
I hope HHATA can continue to maintain a good relationship with BR and continue to improve our neighborhood!

Tree removal crew gets a 10+ rating from Homeowner Assoc.

Hello Shannon,
Your tree removal crew gets a 10+ rating for  the work they did here removing one dead tree and one VERY large Cypress.   Because the Cypress was so large and on a hill, this was far from a simple job.
Several of the homeowners closest to that tree have commented positively to me on the crew’s process and attention to detail. 
Orderly, methodical, careful — and pleasant.   One homeowner said they never left any debris mess at the end of the day.  For one example, branches scheduled to be picked up the next day were lined up very neatly along the property edge. 

Please thank your crew for all their hard work, especially on afternoons that were in the 90s.

We could not have asked for a better job done.   Thank you!

Resident in Reston HOA / Community Comments on Tree Work at their Home

Good morning- 

The crew that took down the tree yesterday and has been here this morning to clear away the branches- can’t say enough how impressed I have been.

And grateful for how carefully they removed the globe and light bulb from the lampost and put them back and cleaned even as the storm was starting!

Board Member Happy with Work of Blade Runner Tree Department!


All, I just want to commend the crew for the level of workmanship I observed today.  Maureen happen to hear and see them working and grab me and we went over.  Knocked on a few doors to get cars relocated and out of harm’s way.   I drove over at dusk and was amazed at how much light you could still see in that area.   It looks altogether new!!

Karen, please pass on that I was extremely pleased and appreciative with their level of work. And thank you for expediting the request and at no additional cost to the community.  It’s great to have you on board.

McLean Long Term Client, takes the Time to Say “Well Done” for Work!


Hi Terry,

Because much of our contact over the years I served on the Hamptons BOD involved requests or even complaints , I don’t want any more time to go by without acknowledging the great work you and the BR crew did on Friday.  We had suffered extensive and dangerous tree damage in the severe thunderstorm that barreled through the neighborhood on Wednesday night.  Early Friday morning the crews were hard at work, and within a few hours they had everything cleared and the debris hauled away – a monumental effort.  A “Well Done” to all involved!

Vienna Condo & Management Company Comments on Tree Department Work

Thanks for this Tim.  Also wanted to pass on that I just finished watching two guys from Blade Runners get the fallen limbs out.  If you get a chance, would you please pass on to the company, how impressed I was at the thorough job they did.  The limbs are gone and the grounds have been swept of debris and even they even got rid of the sawdust from cutting the branches up.  Good job.
