Manager & Board of New Client Share Thoughts on Blade Runners Start.


Hey, Shannon, this is Rob… looking great because it really made a difference right off the bat…. I just drove by the community  just from what I’m seeing, you guys have done it a wonderful job. We’re super happy. I just talked to a couple more board members who are very pleased as well… Thank you so much for all your hard work, getting us into the schedule and getting that work done. … I appreciate your efforts and hope you have a great weekend take care.

Hi Shannon,
Thank you for the information. I think the Board has begun to recognize the potential need to pay more for a stronger landscaping company to manage their grounds.
________ I think has been effective, but the Board has recalled the service from Blade Runners as being a higher tier. There is not currently a guarantee they will cancel with _______, but they are seriously considering a change. A lot of it will depend I think on them. ….
I know that provides a lot of uncertainty, but I wanted to just give you insight into where they are.

Client Wants to Continue with Blade Runners after Moving!


Good morning, Shannon.   I hope this message finds you well.   I also left you a voicemail. 
Your team took great care of my yard when we lived in the Enclave at Ballston ….   We sold this house in 2021 and are about to move into a new home on the Arlington/McLean border.

Falls Church Community Comments on Fall Services

Terry/Andy,
FYI we’ll perform the work outlined in the attached proposal in the Spring. We are still finishing up the other work that precedes the landscaping. Please pencil it in for April time frame – it’s grading and sod work. 
PS – the guys did a good job on the Fall leaf removal and cleanup. The community looks really nice, thanks for your efforts.

New Client Starts Mid-Year – “The landscape seems more brilliant and adds to our street scape. And thanks for that.”


Hi Shannon,

MLCA hosted its annual meeting last Thursday evening, July 28.  As you might imagine, one of the agenda topics was the landscaping work the board has undertaken, as well as the change in landscape contractor.  The change in landscape contractor was first brought up in the context of the annual budget.  The Blade Runners contract is significantly more expensive than our previous contractor and to cover the additional cost we will have to raise our dues.

Such increases are never popular, but there is good news: everyone in attendance agreed the landscaping looks very nice, and so there were zero objections when we explained the need to raise dues.  Everyone agreed this is money well spent.  One fellow not often complimentary of the board wrote us “The landscape seems more brilliant and adds to our street scape. And thanks for that.”

Thank you for the fine job the crew is doing.  It’s very pleasant coming into our neighborhood and seeing well-kept lawns, trimmed sidewalks and flower beds without weeds.  It’s a dramatic improvement, and we’re all very happy with the change.
